Students of the stars and their relation to fateful events follow a particular star that they believe will lead them to the King of the Jews in fulfillment of prophecy. When they stop in Jerusalem to ask King Herod where this Child is to be born, he consults his Jewish advisors and tells them Bethlehem is the place. They find Jesus, present him with gifts, and are warned not to return to Herod. Joseph is also warned by an angel to flee to Egypt until Herod dies. Herod orders all children in and around Bethlehem two years old and younger to be killed. After Herod dies, Joseph takes Mary and Jesus to Nazareth.
