The Sacrifices for Atonement Begin (2-9-25)

After the Lord anointed Aaron and his sons to serve as priests and mediators for the people, Aaron offered the sin offerings, burnt offerings, guilt offerings, grain offerings, and peace offerings as the Lord had commanded, and the Lord showed His acceptance by consuming the offerings with fire. Aaron's two oldest sons, however, offered fire before the Lord in a way He had not directed, and the fire of the Lord killed them.
