As Jesus prepares to offer His life as the sacrifice for sin, He prays for His disciples that they might be protected from Satan and sanctified by the truth, and He prays for those who would believe as the result of the testimony of the disciples that they would demonstrate the same unity as that between the Father and the Son so that the world would know that God sent His Son, that they would be with Him, and that they would see His glory.
