The Institution of Passover (12-15-24)

In preparation for the tenth plague, the Lord instructed the Israelites to place the blood of a specially-chosen and prepared lamb on the door frames of their houses so the death angel would pass over their homes. This observance would establish their national identity and foreshadow the Lord Jesus' own atoning sacrifice for our sin.
