King Jehoiakim and Jeremiah's Scroll 8-6-23

Jeremiah dictated to his scribe, Baruch, all the words the Lord had spoken through him. When Baruch read the scroll, the king's officials were distressed and had the words read to the king. As the king heard the words being read, he cut them from the scroll and tossed them into the fire. The Lord told Jeremiah to write a second scroll and to add specific words of judgment on the king.
