The Beginning of Paul's First Missionary Journey
Sep 1, 2024 • Dr. Jim Glass
When the Holy Spirit calls Barnabus and Saul to begin the work of taking the gospel to the ends of the earth, they leave Antioch and go first to Cyprus. Speaking first to the Jews in the synagogues, they met a sorcerer in Paphos who was "perverting the right ways of the Lord." Saul, "also called Paul," rebuked him, and he was caused to be blind. The Roman proconsul who had invited Barnabas and Saul believed in the Lord.
