The Beginning of the Gospel (9-3-23)

In the opening verses of his gospel, Mark connects Old Testament prophecy about the forerunner of the Messiah to the ministry of John the Baptist. John baptizes Jesus as the Holy Spirit and God the Father affirm Him. Jesus is led by the Holy Spirt into the wilderness where He is tested by Satan.
