The Ark Lands (1-14-24)

After five months, the ark comes to rest in the mountains of Ararat, but the waters don't recede enough to disembark until a full year has passed. When God tells Noah, his family, and the animals to leave the ark, Noah sacrifices some of the clean animals as an expression of gratitude for the grace they had been shown in delivering them from the earth's destruction. As the Lord accepted the offering, He promised never again to destroy the earth by a flood.
