The Coming of the Holy Spirit (6-9-24)

As the disciples were gathered during the Feast of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit filled them and gave them the ability to proclaim the gospel in the different languages of all those who had come to the feast. As the people wondered what this could be, Peter stood up and told them how Jesus is the Christ, authenticating it by the words of their prophets and telling them it had been validated by their own experience and confirmed by the testimony of the disciples. When he told them they had killed their Messiah, they cried out, asking what they needed to do. Peter told them to repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus.
