The Holy Spirit sent Philip to meet the royal treasurer to Queen Candace of Ethiopia as he made his way home from Jerusalem. When Philip met him, he was reading from Isaiah, chapter 53, but didn't understand what he was reading, so he invited Philip to explain it to him Starting with that scripture, Philip opened the Word of Gd to this man, led him to Christ, and then baptized him.
