Description: When the apostles heard a complaint that the Greek-speaking widows weren't being properly cared for, the believers selected seven men of good report to meet this need so the apostles could attend to prayer and preaching. One of those chosen—Stephen—confounded the representatives from five foreign synagogues in Jerusalem, and they had Stephen arrested, supposedly for speaking against the Temple and Moses.
